Biography:
I am in my third and final year of the dual masters program, where I'm getting working towards both a M.A. in English and M.L.I.S. I am a native of Rome, Georgia where I attended Shorter University and gained an undergraduate degree in English Literature along with a minor in Biology. I am interested in the history of science, particularly from the Scientific Revolution onwards wherein we can trace the Enlightenment ideals that are still present in modern day science; I am especially interested in the depiction of germ theory and advances in hygiene in Victorian literature. I currently live in Columbia with my dachshund, Darcy (a Pride and Prejudice homage), who I can often be found taking on walks around downtown and on campus.
