Training & Development Director I/Inclusion Specialist

The Yvonne and Schuyler Moore Child Development Research Center at the University of South Carolina recently received funding from the SC Department of Social Services through the Preschool Development Grant 0-5 to implement initiatives to provide greater access to inclusive settings for young children in South Carolina through the Mix EC: Multi-Systems Inclusion Expansion for Early Childhood project. There are 3 positions available.

The Inclusion Specialist provides training and technical assistance in the implementation of a statewide system to support inclusion in early childhood settings. The focus of the role is to promote inclusion in family child care home settings and provide specialized assistance related to supporting providers to include children with multiple and severe disabilities. This position will require frequent
travel throughout the state and the delivery of services outside of typical business hours (evenings, weekends).
