Background
Kristy has been at the University of South Carolina since 2014, first as an academic advisor in the College of Education, then as the Assistant Director for Resources in University 101 Programs, and now as the Project Manager & Administrative Coordinator for SC TEACHER. She has taught University 101 since 2016, and has also taught EDLP 520: The Teacher as Manager. Prior to coming to USC, Kristy worked in Residence Life at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Springfield College, and the State University of New York at Geneseo, and she taught 7th grade English and Language Arts at Anson Middle School in Wadesboro, North Carolina
Personal
Kristy lives in Lexington with her husband, Adam, and their dog, Maddox Thunder-Paws. She enjoys reading, musical theater, and cheering on the Gamecocks Women’s Basketball team.
